(The Jaguars) pack it in so well with that zone. They basically dare us to hit the outside shot. I wish they'd come out and press us, but (Academy coach) Casey Higgins knows what she's doing.

The hardest thing is trying to keep everybody happy. We're sharing minutes, and that means some scoring averages go down. But the bonus is having that depth, which we didn't have last year.

In the first quarter, we were settling for the jump shot. I kept telling our guards to drive it and be aggressive.

I made her promise me one thing. Get back here so we can win it all.

It was just a bad day. The good thing was we won.

It was pretty much what we expected. We just tried to play as many of the girls as we could.

It was a great effort by our team. Every time we made a run, (Freedom) got back up. Every time we got in there, they pushed us back. We wanted to come in a play well and I think we did that.

Not starting her is something that we have been doing all year. We have had a different girl lead us in scoring just about every game.

It may have affected us a bit. But I don't blame the officials for us losing. We just weren't as focused as usual.

They're both be out there, but they'll be a step slower.
